The view over Vienna’s rooftops from Hotel Am Parkring is a very special experience for me every single time.

Since 2025, Dr. Alexander Schick has been managing Hotel Am Parkring, one of the five Schick Hotels in Vienna. For him, it is a special privilege to be a host in the fifth generation and not only to preserve the family tradition, but to actively develop it further.

Familiar with the hospitality industry from an early age, he studied business administration and business law and earned his doctorate at the Vienna University of Technology with a thesis on the sustainable use of resources in hotel real estate. Professional positions in international tourism and strategy consulting broadened his perspective beyond Vienna. Today, he combines academic expertise with hands-on experience—while leading his family’s legacy into the future.
