Being a host is a declared dream job for Alexander Schiehser: “If I hadn’t become a hotelier? I can’t answer that at all as there was never any alternative for me”, the hotel director says. The opportunity to experience something new every day was just as important to him as his own passion for being a host to others. After several stages in Switzerland and Austria, Hawaii and Dubai, he is looking forward to ensuring his guests an unforgettable time at the Hotel Residenz Passau.
As hotel director, he likes to think ahead. Whether it is about topics like seasonality and regionality or digitization – Alexander Schiehser wants to carefully develop the Hotel Residenz Passau and, thus, adapt it even better to the changing needs of his guests. When he is not making the hotel industry fit for the future, he loves to be out and about in nature. For the host, traveling is an obligatory part.
