Your host
to the hotel

Your host: Michael Pfundt

Communications engineer, business studies, scientific work in a museum: Michael Pfundt has already proven himself in very different professions. Nevertheless, working as a hotelier is one of the most enjoyable he can imagine. After all, here he can not only cultivate and preserve the feeling of the golden twenties, but also convey it to the guests of the Hotel-Pension Funk. His favorite motto? “High meaning often lies in childish play,” the Berliner quotes Friedrich Schiller. As a hotelier, he takes the liberty of doing things a little differently with ease and playfulness. That’s the way it works in a privately run hotel. In his leisure time, Michael Pfundt enjoys taking his own trips and sailing trips – or delving deeper into historical studies. It’s clear that his perfect day in Berlin also has to do with the past and even more specifically with the twenties. Have fun discovering!
