Our tip for a perfect day in town: start off the morning with a nice walk! Climbing up on Kapuzinerberg is worth it in two ways: on the one hand, it is home to the historical Capucines cloister, which evolved from a medieval fortress also known as the “Trompetenschlösschen”; on the other hand, one has a fantastic panoramic view from up the mountain that offers just the perfect atmosphere for a short break.

Morning and noon: the Bazar – a place with history

Our recommendation for a little break in between is Cafe Bazar. The Cafe Bazar is a place of history and stories. The coffee house in the center of the Mozart city of Salzburg fascinates locals and guests from all over the world with its charm.
