For Dr. Alexander Schick, it is a special privilege to be a host in the fifth generation and to not only preserve tradition, but to actively develop it further. Hotel Stefanie shall continue to be a place where Viennese history and modern joie de vivre meet.

For more than four centuries, Hotel Stefanie has stood for Viennese hospitality. Since the year 1600, it has welcomed guests from all over the world – forming the foundation of the Schick Hotels, which are now run by the Schick family in the fifth generation.

Since 2025, Dr. Alexander Schick has been managing Hotel Stefanie. Familiar with the hotel industry from an early age, he studied business administration and business law, and earned his doctorate at the Vienna University of Technology on the sustainable resource consumption of hotel properties. Professional positions in international tourism and strategy consulting broadened his perspective beyond Vienna. Today, he combines scientific expertise with hands-on experience – while leading his family’s legacy into the future.
